EHL CT RoughRiders players need Furniture and Home Goods!
 
 
To the CT RoughRiders families
This year in addition to our host families, we will be housing EHL Junior players in unfurnished apartments and would greatly appreciate any furniture you would liked to donate.  We are looking for couches, chairs, kitchen/dining tables with 4-6 chairs each, end tables , coffee tables, dressers, and other items. 
 
 
A FEW THINGS WE NEED:
kitchen/dining table and at least 4 chairs
couch
chairs
end tables
coffee table
dresser
lamps
cookware
 
and if anyone wants to donate:
 
Costco membership for 1 player in each apartment
paper towels
toilet paper
cleaning supplies
 
...or anything else you can think of?

With the recent signing of several out of state players to our EHL CT RoughRiders Junior Team we are looking for additional billet families to house our EHL players for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Billet Families Wanted!

 

The CT ROUGH RIDERS EHL team is looking for a few “Billet” Families!
 
We need a few local families willing to provide a surrogate home to out-of-state/country players who are joining us to play in one of the most competitive leagues in North America.
Hosts will receive a monetary stipend to offset some of the basic costs (i.e. food)
 
Players will take their game to the next level, while completing their high school education or take college level courses, and/or obtain part time employment in the local community.
 
If you are interested in becoming a host family and in helping these talented young men in their pursuit,

CT Oilers 2005 Bring Home the Gold!


Congrats to the 2005s CT Oilers -  for a well fought battle beating the Hamilton Jr Bulldogs 4-1 to win the 2016 Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Reebok Classic with a 5-1 record. Well done!

2 New Seasonal Rinks to open Norwalk

Winter Wonderland in Norwalk

The SoNo Ice House is excited to announce the building of 2 covered seasonal rinks located just down the street at Veteran's Park!

"Another milestone in the foundation of hockey development in Norwalk Connecticut!" Ryan Hughes - Managing Partner SoNo Ice House.

The NHL and Training Rinks at Veteran's Park will mirror the setup of the SoNo Ice House and will be in operation October 15, 2016

-One to Two Full Ice Practices a Week

CT Oilers Pee Wee Minor 2004 boys win the AYHL Championships

CT Oilers Pee Wee Minor 2004 boys win the Atlantic Youth Hockey League Championships for the 2nd straight year. The CT Oilers beat the Valley Forge Minutemen Ice Hockey 3-1 in a great team effort in a sweet comeback victory with three third period goals.
Congratulations to the players & coaches for another great season! We are all very proud of you guys!
